John is an active business investor in multiple sectors and industries in his role as Chief Executive Officer of IV Winds, and also serves as CEO of Coolbus, an exciting technology startup serving families through a mobile platform that's redefining carpool for children. Born and raised in Macon, Georgia, John attended the University of Georgia where he studied finance and real estate. He moved to Birmingham in 2010 after a brief stint working in real estate development to co-found Matter Management, a highly successful waste management company. John has been married to his wife Sarah since 2006 and lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with their three children. He and his family attend Church of the Highlands and love to serve regularly. John has a passion for start-ups, adventure, travel, the outdoors, and helping people live out their God-given purpose through the power of their creator.
